I conceptualized and art directed this mural image to use for this grade 6, six-unit program. The idea was to create a unified mural image, that would also be used for the six unti covers. This was used for posters, conference signage, and all other marketing channels. Image was then split up into six separate covers, one for each unit of the cover. Collaborated with editorial team and stakeholders to assure that images were aligned with project goals.

I then collaborated with stakeholders and our art buyer. We settled on artist that was right for the age group and commissioned them to further develop the sketches and creat the final artwork

We went through two rounds of sketches and two round of color to get to the final round of color illustration(s). It worked as a mural and also as separate covers for each unit as seen below:
